Zionsville Community Schools is a public school system serving kindergarten through 12th-grade students in Eagle and Union townships in Boone County, Indiana. Zionsville has also received the Four Star School designation from the Indiana Department of Education.

The town has two privately maintained recreation facilities which make it easy to host community events. Lions Park, located immediately adjacent to the village center, hosts many annual festivals such as Christmas in the Village, Fall Festival and 4th of July Fireworks, as well as the Azionaqua Swim Club which is enjoyed by hundreds of local families. In the village on Main Street, you'll find Night on the Bricks and Street Dance, which are two community events hosted by Zionsville Chamber of Commerce. We also have the nature center which encourages Zionsville and Central Indiana families to take an active role in their native environment through educational and inquiry-based programs and activities. Lastly, there is the Zionsville Golf Club which groups can sign up for during schedule times for league play.
Charmingly nicknamed "the city within a park" nestled among shops and quiet cafes, Zionsville is constantly on the top ten lists of the safest places to live in the country.
